• Specifically, you'll find the office within the pedestrian mall area, making it easily accessible. Look for it near popular landmarks such as KFC and right next door to Hamley's Toys.

Getting to the Tour Office:

• Complimentary Hotel Shuttle: For guests staying at selected hotels in the Sandton area, a free shuttle service is available to transport you to the tour office. Please refer to the shuttle timetable for specific pick-up locations and times.
• Gautrain: If you're using Johannesburg's high-speed rail link, the Gautrain, the Rosebank station is your destination. Upon arrival at Rosebank station, use the North Exit and follow the signs to The Zone shopping center and the City Sightseeing Tour office.
• By Car: If you prefer to drive, parking facilities are available at "The Zone" shopping center. The entrance to the parking area is located off Oxford Road.

Important Arrival Information:

• Please ensure you arrive at the City Sightseeing Tour office at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled bus departure time. This allows ample time for ticket verification and boarding.

"Hop-On, Hop-Off" Flexibility:

• This tour utilizes a convenient "Hop On Hop Off" system. This means you can disembark the bus at any of the designated stops along the circular route to explore attractions at your own pace. When you're ready to continue your tour, simply present your valid ticket to board the next available City Sightseeing bus.

Kid-Friendly Experience:

• The open-top buses are a hit with children! To enhance their experience, there is a special commentary channel available in English specifically designed to be engaging and informative for young passengers.

Gold Reef City:

• Please note that entry into Gold Reef City is not included in the standard bus tour ticket.
• It is highly recommended to check available dates and pre-book your entry tickets for Gold Reef City in advance to avoid disappointment.

What's Not Included:

• The cost of entrance fees into the various attractions along the tour route is not included in the price of your bus tour ticket.

Important Information Regarding Pre-booking and Temporary Closures:

• As mentioned earlier, it's crucial to check available dates and pre-book your entry if you plan to visit Gold Reef City.
• Please be aware of the following temporary closures:
  • Apartheid Museum: Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Also closed from December 23rd, 2024, to January 2nd, 2025. FREE entry on December 16th.
  • Mandela Foundation: Closed on the last Friday of every month. Additionally closed from December 13th, 2024, to January 6th, 2025.
  • Constitution Hill: Closed on December 11th, December 25th, December 26th, and January 1st. FREE entry on December 16th.
  • Sci Bono: Closed on December 24th, December 25th, and January 1st.
  • Military Museum: Closed on December 25th and January 1st.
